Telegram export
Export Telegram data through read-only API calls.
Use dataz.md to fetch Telegram chats, channels, messages, contacts, DMs, members, and topics as JSON through GET endpoints.
Steps
- Create or open a workspace with an activated Telegram account slot.
- Create a tenant API key in the portal and copy the account-specific gateway URL.
- List chats or channels, choose the target conversation, then fetch messages, members, contacts, or topics as needed.
- Persist response IDs and timestamps in your destination system so future reads can be compared safely.
Prerequisites
- A dataz.md workspace with an activated account slot.
- A tenant API key created in the portal.
- Access to data the connected provider account can read.
API paths used
GET /v1/{tenant_slug}/accounts/{account_slug}/chats
GET /v1/{tenant_slug}/accounts/{account_slug}/channels/{channel_id}/messages
GET /v1/{tenant_slug}/accounts/{account_slug}/contacts
GET /v1/{tenant_slug}/accounts/{account_slug}/topics/{chat_id}/{topic_id}/messages
Limitations
- This is an API-call workflow, not a packaged bulk-download workflow.
- The connected account must already be able to read the chat, channel, DM, member, contact, or topic data.
- The API does not send, edit, delete, react, join, change contacts, run bot commands, setup/token routes, or provider-account control routes.
